College Prospects in the 2024-25 NEPSAC Class B
The New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC), established in 1942, is an athletic association of accredited New England prep schools. That covers seven states in the Northeast. It runs various levels of play. For basketball, it has become a highly regarded, de facto feeder system for college basketball prospects. Its Class B Division is derived from its mid-sized, in terms of male-student-population, schools. It is noteworthy, that in New England prep basketball, just like in college ball, the population of the school is not a strongly correlated indicator of their level of basketball play. For example, last year, Class B Rivers School, among others, were computer ranked ahead of dozens of Class AAA, AA and A teams.
As can be inferred by the college prospect profiles below, to be selected as one of the eight seeds in the NEPSAC Class B postseason tournament is a formidable and impressive feat.
