2024 Kingswood-Oxford Invitational Tournament Player Profiles

The Kingswood-Oxford School is located in West Hartford, CT and it's The Paul W. “Frosty” Francis Kingswood Invitational Tournament, now in its 62nd year, is one of Kingswood-Oxford School’s most cherished traditions. The K.I.T. is one of the oldest continuously running prep school basketball tournaments in New England. The tournament was founded in 1963 by Paul “Frosty” Francis, former athletic director and boys basketball coach at the school. The tournament will feature eight boys teams and eight girls teams from independent schools across the region. As we profile below, the boys side of the event will feature a large number of college basketball prospects.

Scott Conopask (2025) 6’3', 185lb, guard – A dynamic guard who can score in multiple ways. With a lightning-quick release, he's a constant threat beyond the arc, and his off-the-dribble step-back adds versatility. Tenacious attacking at the rim and with several counter moves, he is a multifaceted scorer. Defensively, he is a fierce competitor and has the versatility guard multiple positions. Tyler Vassel (2025) 6’5, 195lb, wing - A multi-talented player with an impressive skill set, Vassel has the ability to play multiple positions and contribute in a variety of ways to his team's success. His physical attributes are impressive: good size, athleticism, and length. His ability to shoot from the outside is particularly noteworthy, as is his ability to penetrate the defense from the perimeter and create scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. Zach Fallquist (2026) 6’3', 180lb, wing - A versatile player with lethal shooting skills and a knack for attacking the hoop. Fallquist's high basketball IQ and relentless work ethic make him a valuable asset on both ends of the floor. A dynamic force who excels at creating scoring opportunities and disrupting opponents defensively. Jack Nally (2026) 6’5', 185lb, wing - Nally is a long, athletic wing that can shoot from beyond the arc and attack the basket from multiple angles. He competes on both ends of the floor and never backs down from a challenge. His defensive toughness and defensive prowess are impressive for his size. His jumping ability helps him protect the rim while also cleaning up on the glass at both ends of the floor. Loves the game and the grind. Jalik Fernandes (2025) 6'1guard - Fernandes is a heads-up passer and playmaker. He is also a very good shooter and a very crafty player.

Alister Walsh (2025) 6'2 guard - Walsh has good physical size for a guard. He is a heads-up passer and a playmaker. He can also get into the paint to score over smaller players. 4.0 gpa

Naythan Cadogan (2026) 6'4 wing - Cadogan is a lanky wing with confident handle. He can get to the rim and create his own shot.

Eli Ford (2026) 5'10 point guard - Lone returning starter on a team that went 14-12 last year. Solid handle, is crafty with the ball, hits open shots, and finishes at the rim. 3.2 gpa

Jonas Knudsen (2026) 6'6 small forward - Knudsen has good size for mixing it up inside. He can also handle the ball on the perimeter, and he will hit open shots. 3.5 gpa

Davonne 'DJ' Biggins (2026) 6'2 point guard - Biggins is a tremendous floor a general. He averaged 24.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game. He shot 37% from beyond the arc (extensive range) and 56.7% from 2. He’s a natural scorer but also does a tremendous job as a point guard. He consistently scores at all three levels. A true point guard that understands when to score and when to facilitate. All-NEPSAC Class B First Team and First Team All Founders League as a sophomore. Team Co-Captain for 2024-25, DJ's leadership and skills make him an invaluable asset to a team. Projected to compete at the Mid/High D1 level. Justice Hanna (2025) 6’2, 180 lbs, guard - Hanna brings a solid all-around game to the court, averaging 4.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game last winter. What sets Hanna apart is his elite shooting ability coupled with his knack for driving to the basket. Off the court, he is a true leader, known for his dedication and work ethic. He’s constantly putting in extra hours before and after practice, studying film, and honing his skills. Tyler Brown (2026) 6’1 guard - Brown brings speed, skill, and a tremendous defensive prowess. He averaged 4.9 ppg, 2.3 rpg and 1.7 apg last winter. He is speedy and relentless in transition. Ethan Genetti (2026) 6’6 small forward - Genetti a promising is poised to make his mark on the court. With his intriguing combination of size and shooting ability, he presents a unique challenge for opponents. He is starting to establish himself as a force in the paint, while also showcasing his range from beyond the arc. He’s actively working on expanding his skill set, focusing on improving as a rebounder and rim protector to bolster his presence in the interior. Will Parkhouse (2026) 6’4 guard, Kingswood-Oxford School (CT) - Parkhouse is a knockdown shooter, joining Kingswood this fall. He can stretch the floor, has a tremendous feel for the game. He shot 42% from 3 this past season and had multiple games where he hit 6 or more threes in a game. He can rebound and finish in transition as well. Travis Parsons (2026) 6’5, 215 lbs, small forward - Parsons averaged 3.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game last winter. Known for his physicality, he excels as a screener and a rebounder, and he has a strong ability to finish around the rim. He brings his robust playing style and defensive prowess to every game. Stryckland Whittley-Ligon (2026) 6’5 wing - Whittley-Ligon is aggressive on both sides of the ball. He easily gets downhill with a quick first step and finishes at the rim. He can also pull up for the midrange or bump fade to throw defenders off. Don’t leave him open from 3 either because he knocks those down too. He’s got a great handle and can create for others too. He also does the little things that don’t come up in the stat sheet. Like the deflections, hustle plays, or tipped out rebounds. Finally, he is a defensive juggernaut that can guard the 1-4 without any problems due to his size, strength, and quickness. Zach Munawar (2027) 6’7 forward - Munawar brings a formidable presence to the interior, utilizing his length and defensive instincts to disrupt opponents’ shots and protect the rim. With a soft touch around the hoop and solid passing skills, he’s not only a defensive force but also a threat on the offensive end. Munawar’s smooth mid-range jumper adds versatility to his game, and he’s actively working on expanding his range. Keenan Murphy (2027) 6’6 forward - Murphy runs the floor and rebounds well. He finishes strong in transition and will also step out and knock down open threes. Tremendous Upside.

George McCormack (2025) 6'1 shooting guard - "Shooter!!!" is all you hear from opposing coaches when McCormack runs up the court. He has separated himself as the most lethal shooter around. He is averaging 13 ppg while shooting 41% from behind the arc. He takes over 8 3's a game and has found the balance of volume and efficiency. He has made more than 4 or more 3's in 10 out of 17 games. He moves extremely well without the ball and shoots with impressive confidence and range. McCormack understands how to make himself available and gets his shot off as quick as we have seen in recent years which separates him from the rest. Henry Simon (2026) 6'3 wing/guard - Simon hails from California and brings a strong aggressive wing game with him. He can score on all 3 levels and has a deadly mid-range game. With his strong frame and high IQ, he has the ability to guard all positions. Simon lives in the gym as all he wants to do is play basketball. He has consistently improved as an above-average passer and is becoming a consistent slasher. He is a constant catch-n-shoot threat from the 3-point line, and as he extends his range, he will continue to attract college coaches because of his versatility. AJ Trimboli (2026) 5'10 point guard - Trimboli has emerged this year as a go-to player. With an assassin’s mentality and his ability to get shots off at will, he can fill it up at any given time. What separates him is his high IQ on and off the court. He is a student of the game and understands efficiency. He connects on almost four 3’s a game. As a sophomore, he averaged 19 ppg while shooting over 50% from 2, over 40% from 3, and over 90% from the free throw line. Trimboli’s tight handle gives him the ability to ‘get to his spots, which allows him to consistently make the right play as he also was one of the team leaders in assists (4.1) and led in steals (2.1). Jonovan Bracey (2026) 6'5 wing - Bracey comes in from one of the top schools in the CIAC in Career Academy (20-5) last year, where he was projected to be the go-to player this upcoming season. Bracey, whose father played at SMU, is showing himself as a difference maker for the team this year. His ability to clog up the middle and alter shots on the defensive end while being able to play 1-5 on the offensive end will create havoc for other teams. Justin Beazley (2027) 6'0 guard - As a freshman, Beazley started the year off playing like a veteran. He was a huge factor in the KIT as he garnered All-Tournament honors for his performance. He does it all for his team defensively and offensively. He is fundamentally sound, plays at his pace, and cannot be sped up. He has great ball control and get to his spots for turnarounds and rim finishes. He shoots with range and can score from anywhere on the court. He is 2nd in scoring and leads his team in 3-point percentage at 43%. Defensively, he can guard positions 1-3 and has a level of grit that isn't seen these days. He is as competitive as they come, and as he continues to grow and develop athletically, Beazley will be a household name for college coaches. 3.5 gpa   Video highlights   RTB profile

Krystian Gaston (2027) 6'2 wing/guard - Gaston is an emerging player with a huge upside. He is a langly and athletic wing with the ability to guard all 5 positions and run the floor with the best of them. He is amongst the team leaders in deflections, and he has a serviceable 3-point shot. His budding ability to guard at the rim and attack the offensive glass, makes him a catalyst on any team. As he continues to understand the game and his God-given abilities, he will be a force to reckon with as he has all the makings of a positionless basketball player. Ryan Trimboli (2028) 6'0 guard, King School (CT) - Trimboli will be an immediate impact for the Vikings. He is an athletic guard that can has an arsenal of playmaking ability and has a shooters mentality to light it up at any time. Ryan has a defensive mindset to play his defender 94 feet and is a disrupter for offenses. Like his older brother, he has a high IQ on how to play the game and his size does not resemble that of a freshman at 6'0. Kyree Latimer (2025) 6'3 guard - Latimer, is a crafty guard that can get to the rim and knock down the open three. He is a natural scorer and leader with a Philly swagger and tenacity

Lucas Agbejemisin (2025) 6'10 center - A versatile center/forward that can finish above the rim but also stretch the floor with a natural looking jump shot. His length and athleticism allow him to protect the rim and guard the perimeter

Anson Beard (2025) 6'5 guard - Beard is a natural passer with a decent jump shot from mid-range and from deep. He is best when attacking the basket and playmaking for teammates.   RTB profile

Osahon Belo-Osagie (2025) 6'7 center - A strong and athletic center with an incredible knack for the basketball. With a decent vertical leap, Belo-Osagie is a strong rebounder and finisher around the rim

Hayes Card (2025) 6'5 small forward - Card is a strong, quick and versatile athlete that slices with precision from the perimeter. He is a capable shooter with a love for the game

Chris Trucano (2025) 6'1 guard - Trucano is a tough and scrappy lefty that loves to get to the rim. With strong on-ball defense, this guard has a knack for steals and has strong leadership skills

Aiden Li (2026) 6'3 guard - Li is a strong guard/small forward who can rebound and shoot the three. His work ethic and love for the game of basketball is undeniable and unmatched.

Michael Esekheigbe (2026) 6'4 small forward - A long and lanky guard with sneaky athleticism, Esekheigbe's defensive presence and perimeter shooting will be a great addition on the perimeter for the Big Red

Walt Plimpton (2027) 6'5 small forward - Plimpton is another skilled versatile guard/forward that can score from all three levels and defend nearly every position on the court. He is looking to have a strong sophomore campaign

Santana Hodge (2027) 6'2 guard - This quick and crafty guard begins his sophomore campaign after a great freshman year. A very talented scorer from all three levels, Hodge is looking to help lead the Big Red to more wins this season

Rowan Connor (2026) 6'4 guard - Connor is a promising young talent with a high basketball IQ and decent jump shot from distance. At 6'4 his length allows him to defend the perimeter and defend passing lanes

Shemar Sookdar (2025) 5’10 point guard - A tremendous leader and very high character person. Sookdar is a knockdown shooter with a smooth jumper who can pull up from anywhere on the court. A 3-point microwave; once hot, he needs to be guarded closely, making consecutive three pointers in a few different games. He is extremely Quick off the dribble leading to blow-byes on late closeouts. He is shifty and bouncy which makes him very hard to contain. Along with that he has quick hands defensively, causing turnovers in a full court press. Sookdar has aspirations of studying aviation and becoming a pilot. 4.0 gpa   RTB profile

Channer Duke (2025) 6’0 guard - A skilled guard from Brooklyn New York, Duke is a true leader and a quick and athletic guard. He can play both on and off the ball, as a one or a two. He has a great IQ and loves the midrange shot and running in transition. He is a relentless and bothersome defender who causes turnovers and creates easy layups for him and his teammates. Duke is very solid in a half-court game as well, making the right plays coming off screens and getting downhill.  3.4 gpa   RTB profile

Shawn Nherisson (2025) 6’4 wing - A strong and athletic wing who finishes well around the basket and in transition. He has a developing jump shot. He is very active on defense and can guard 1-4 with ease. Nherisson has a college-ready frame and athleticism to go along with a great motor/energy.  RTB profile

Aly Kante (2025) 6’6 small forward - A Queens, NY native who can play inside and out. He can guard multiple positions on the floor and uses his versatility, length and athleticism to contribute on both ends. Kante is very good at finishing around the basket and has a nice mid-range game as well. He takes a lot of pride in his rebounding and shot blocking as well.  Video highlights   RTB profile

Marcus Conde (2025) 6’3 guard - A strong shooting guard who is very athletic, with the ability to play above the rim. He can play both ends of the floor and has a reputation of being a very aggressive defender and extremely coachable young man. Conde can shoot the ball and excels with his 3point shooting and his ability to slash and attack the rim. 3.0 gpa

Donovan Davis (2025) 6’7 forward - From Montgomery, NY, Davis is a strong and athletic forward who runs the floor well and plays hard. He does a great job rebounding, blocking and altering shots. He is a lob threat around the rim and can knock down a 15ft jumper. Davis has only been playing basketball for a couple of years so his best basketball is ahead of him. He hopes to play at the D1 level, but all levels should take a look at him.   RTB profile

Lawrence Tolbert (2025) 6’0 guard - From Middletown, NY, Tolbert excels on the court. A hard nose defender who can pick up full court and disrupt offenses. He can play both on and off the ball using his speed and quickness to create and finish shots. He is very shifty with the ball and likes to get in the paint and attack, making easy shot attempts for himself and his teammates. 3.0 gpa

Mikey Ekenyere (2026) 6’6 small forward - A long athletic player from Emmaus, PA who can play on the perimeter or in the paint and has a high upside on the court. Ekenyere can create for himself and his teammates. He has the ability to shoot both the midrange shot and the three ball. He displays finesse and accuracy with his shots. His enthusiastic energy allows him to streak often taking shots that he’s comfortable with. He has a knack for finishing at the basket which makes him a versatile threat. Utilizing his impressive length and athleticism, he excels in swatting away shots on defense and finishing strongly around the rim on offense. His ability to rebound the ball and block shots at a high level adds a special edge to his game. Ekenyere is a true talent to keep an eye on and with two years of growing and maturing left his best basketball is to come. Antonis Kalvros (2025) 6’0 point guard - A son of a coach, this pass-first point guard takes pride in sharing the ball and making the game easier for his teammates. He can be a real threat in transition with his ability to hit a head and see the floor. Kalvros, who is from Greece, is a gym rat who loves working out and improving his game. He is a very solid on the ball defender and loves to pick up full court and cause havoc on opposing guards. His attitude and work ethic make him the perfect teammate that others gravitate too. He is soft spoken but leads by example and is an absolute pleasure to coach. Kalvros is a culture guy who will do whatever is asked of him without any issues. He has a high ceiling and could end up an NE-10/Patriot level player. 3.5 gpa

Jayden Ogbeide (2025) 6’7 small forward - Built like a truck, this strong and athletic wing has a college-ready frame. He sets the tone down low, finishes well around the basket and in transition. Ogbeide can pick and pop or shoot off the catch. He is most comfortable on the midrange and corners. A true Windex man he is very active on the glass and does a great job of protecting the rim. He uses his versatility to guard positions 2-5. 2.8 gpa   RTB profile

Rodrigo “Rigo” Dos Santos (2025) 6’8 power forward - A transfer from national power Vermont Academy who played a huge part in their overall success last year while winning the NEPSAC Class AAA title. Dos Santos is an intriguing prospect to watch who can affect the game in multiple ways and always seems to be in the right place at the right time. He uses soft hands and touch to finish around the rim and out of the post. He’s able to step out and knock down shots from the perimeter. He’s a dynamic forward that is skilled and so fun to coach. He’s a great teammate and has an unbelievable upside. Dos Santos is a fluid post player who shows off the ability to make crafty passes using his court vision. He’s versatile for his size and possess a smooth handle. He is a menace on the glass and can really be an anchor on the defensive end of the floor. He is as skilled as any forward in New England and has the potential to gravitate to the wing as he continues to transform his body.   RTB profile

Jack Murphy (2025) 6'2 guard - Murphy is a four year varsity player at Pingree. He was voted captain this year. Murphy is as tough a competitor as you will find. He will fight through any assortment of injuries to stay on the court. Murphy's skill set includes long range three point shooting. He is excellent on the catch and shoot. Murphy has a quick trigger and is deadly accurate. Pound for pound is Pingree’s best rebounder. He plays much bigger than 6'2. Murphy is a high level team defender and an effective on ball defender. 3.4 gpa

Andrew Rosenthal (2025) 5'9 point guard - Rosenthal is a crafty point guard. He has a strong handle. He can thread a needle with his passing. His court vision is uncanny. He also has a solid mid-range game. Rosenthal‘s on-ball defense is excellent. 3.6 gpa

Evan Bechard (2026) 6'2 guard - Bechard is a glue guy. He does all the small things. He is a utility Swiss Army knife. Bechard might not light up the box score, but he will make an impact on the game in some many other ways. 3.7 gpa

Drew Mullaney (2026) 5'10 guard - Mullaney is the definition of a gym rat. Learning under scholarship teammate Ray Cueves. He has a yearning to play at a high level. His bag of tricks is plentiful. Mullaney was a 42% three point shooter last year. He buried several clutch shots to impact winning last year. No one is more effective off the ball than Mullaney. He is uncanny in finding open space to catch and drill threes. His leadership skills are off the charts. He is a proven winner. 3.7 gpa

Rex Braillard (2027) 6'4 wing - A real riser, Braillard is only scratching the surface. His ceiling is very high as an athletic wing who can guard multiple positions. He picks up concepts very quickly. Watch him closely because he will make a major splash in prep school basketball.

Jayden Reid (2025) 6'9 forward - (Quinnipiac University commit) #23 ranked Class of 2025 player in New England by Prep Hoops. Reid averaged a double double this past winter in NEPSAC play. He is a Swiss Army knife from the forward position. He is one of the best shooting bigs in the country, along with being a skillful passer, rim protector and rebounder. Ethan Griffin (2026) 6'7 forward - Griffin led his West Haven High to a 2023-24 CIAC state championship. He was named to the CIAC All State team and the SCC All Conference team. He is a dynamic player who runs the floor well. He is an uber athletic and high energy talent who is a big time rim protector and rebounder. He is a scholarship level prospect. Baron "Sonny" Batchelor (2027) 6’5 wing - Batchelor has the tools to be special. He is super athletic, smart, and driven to make a name for himself. He is a 3 level scorer and a big time defender. Ethan Vicallis (2027) 6'1 guard - Vicallis was the only freshman to make the Westminster varsity team this past winter. The southpaw has a unique skill set, which allows him to be a good slasher and finisher around the basket. He has also become a good 3 point shooter and an on-ball defender.
